These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Budget Silos mobile application and website (the "Service"), operated by Antwone Johnson ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Use of the Service
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement. You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
2. Your Account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
3. Bank Connections
The Service integrates with Plaid to connect to your financial institutions. By connecting a bank account, you agree to Plaid's End User Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or security of any data provided by third-party financial institutions or Plaid.
4. Financial Information Disclaimer
Budget Silos is a personal budgeting tool only. It does not provide financial advice, investment advice, or any professional financial services. You are solely responsible for your financial decisions. We make no guarantees about the accuracy or completeness of transaction data retrieved from your financial institutions.
5. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the app
- Use the Service on behalf of another person without their consent
6. Intellectual Property
All content, design, and code within the Service is owned by or licensed to us and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the Service without our written permission.
7. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. You may delete your account at any time from within the app.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the applicable courts.
